Don't Panic; QuickBooks data recovery is possible in almost all cases!

• If there was a power failure or some other problem before you finished restoring the file, QuickBooks will prompt you to finish restoring the next time you try to use it. Follow the on-screen instructions.
• You may not be able to restore from a damaged floppy disk, but you can try copying the backup file to your hard drive and restoring from that location.
• If you cannot copy the .qbb file to the hard drive, chances are high the floppy disk is damaged (even new disks, taken directly from the box can be damaged).
• QuickBooks will not restore a damaged data file. If the company file that you backed up has data damage, its backup will not restore. Check the file that you backed up for data damage.
