Computer Auctions
Computer Auctions, such as eBay, begin with your registration. By registering, you are letting other members know that you will participate in an honest and professional manner.
With all computer auctions, you must provide valid contact information. A credit card is necessary. Once you have registered your details, you will receive an email confirming your username and password.
Browse the items you would like to bid for.
The closing date for each item should be clearly displayed, bids will not be accepted after this time.
Once you have found the product you would like to bid for, just click the on the current bid price to place a bid.
Most U.S. computer auctions, like eBay, require bidders to register with a credit card having a U.S. billing address and the product must ship to a U.S. address. The billing address must match the billing address on the credit card.
Be wary of email requests that ask you to enter sensitive personal information such as a User ID, password or bank account number by clicking on a link or completing a form within the email. These are clear indicators of Spoof (or phishing) email.
